Black Velvet
You might think sparkling wine and GUINNESS don’t get on well but trust us, they do; and the touch of cassis adds a welcome sweetness to this bubbly cocktail.

I had my first GUINNESS last year in Dublin and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Now, I’m a big fan.

The Black Velvet – How To
- Start by mixing the Cassis with the Guinness to increase the density of the GUINNESS.
- Slowly pour the GUINNESS/ Cassis mix down the side of a flute until it half fills the glass.
- Top with Sparkling Wine, poured over a bar spoon.
Top Tip: Make sure all the ingredients are chilled beforehand.
