Rufus Sewell has a widow’s peak, and this textured style gives his slightly thinning hair volume and a bit of polish for an evening out.

Most recently on our small screens playing Prince Andrew in Scoop, the handsome actor’s transformation made him unrecognisable.

Proving that hair really can maketh the man, he admitted in this Esquire interview that, along with the enormous amount of facial prosthetics, the hair was the, er, cherry on top.

“When the hair went on top, it came together and was kind of astonishing,” he admitted.

What To Ask Your Barber:

Rufus Sewell’s hair has more length left on the top to enable it to be styled in this textured look.
The sides and back have enough length to enable Rufus to slightly slick the sides back.
However, for a more modern twist, you could go for a tighter taper or even a low fade.

Get The Look

For fine, thinning hair like Rufus, using the right products will make this style super easy to attain.
Add a golf ball-sized pump of volumising mousse to damp hair, making sure you get it into the roots.
Then add in a very small amount of strong hold pomade or clay – whatever your preference.
Blow dry your hair upside down which helps boost volume.
When it’s dry, add in more pomade – just a tiny amount each time – pulling pieces of the hair out to give it texture.
Pull one of the pieces of hair down onto your forehead like Rufus.
