Matt Damon: Classic Crew Cut With Small Quiff

4.0 4 Star

He’s always had that boy-next-door vibe, but MFH has to confess that Matt Damon’s barnet is looking the best it ever has now he’s let his natural silver fox loose.

And those greys are shown off to perfection in this classic crew cut with the barely there quiff.

MFH says

The Talented Mr Damon was fond of a bronde (browny/blonde) curtain cut back in the early days of his career, but now he’s unleashed his natural silver fox he’s finally thrown off the shackles of that ‘nice boy next door’ vibe.

With that classic crew cut with baby quiff he looks more like the distinguished, successful actor, writer and and film producer he is.

Proving yet again that binning the hair dye can definitely pay off.

Matt’s hair is still in the dark grey stages, but if the lighter areas start looking a bit dull/brassy or yellow (as the tone of your grey hair can be affected by exposure to elements such as wind, rain and pollution) he would benefit from using a silver shampoo once a week or so to keep his silvery follicles looking fresh and vibrant.

  • For Matt’s hairstyle, ask for a crew cut – in other words, a short back and sides that blend with the slightly longer hair on top of your head.
  • You have various options when it comes to the short sides – they can be tapered; chopped with scissors or clippers; or you could even opt for a fade, depending on the length and finish you’re after.
  • Regular trims can help short haircuts to keep their shape, so discuss with your barber how often to book in.
  • Matt Damon’s textured crew cut is simple to style.
  • Work in a few spritzes of sea salt spray or texture spray with your hands.
  • Then blow dry it, brushing it forward with your hands.
  • For Matt’s tiny quiff, warm a tiny amount of styling product (like a clay with a natural or matte finish) between your hands, then work it through your fringe to give it some lift.
  • Then use any leftover product on your hands and swipe it through the sides of the hair to smooth any flywaways.
