Andrew Scott: Short Back And Sides With Quiff Hairstyle

2.0 2 Star

Actor Andrew Scott wears his hair in a short back and sides – and styles it up into a messy quiff for an evening look.

MFH says

Andrew Scott has definitely played a variety of characters in his acting career (Moriarty and the Hot Priest from Fleabag, to name just a few) but he likes to play things a lot safer with his hairstyle than he does his roles.

He opts for a short back and sides and often wears it styled into a quiff for events. Style this look with a matt clay, wax or paste to get Andrew’s textured look. It’s a fine look, but we’d love to see Andrew being a bit more creative in future.

  • To get Andrew Scott’s quiff style ask your barber for a short back and sides.
  • You need length on the top and sides to get good quiff. The back and sides should be tapered towards the neck with scissors. The sides should blend into the top layers.
  • While you’re at the barbers ask how they’re styling your hair and what products they’re using to achieve Andrew’s messy, but cool quiff.
  • When your hair is towel dry apply a styling pomade through the front section. Use a pomade with a sheen to it rather than a matt finish.
  • Using your fingers guide the front of your hair into a quiff.
  • Andrew has combed back the sides away from his face to finish the look.
