Fruity and floral, the new (September 2020) Jo Malone Fig & Lotus Flower Cologne is one that pleasantly surprised me.
From the name and the clear bottle, you’d be forgiven in thinking that this new Jo Malone launch is overtly floral and whimsical. Sure, there’s a strong floral thread throughout the fragrance but the juicy fig note gives it a rich and plump grounding. It’s bursting with energy.
Sillage is there, but not a huge performer; and the longevity is middle-of-the-road and fairly standard for Jo Malone fragrances.

Heart Note: Lotus Flower
Dewy and fresh, this accord creates a graceful light floral heart, representing a flower floating on water.
Base Note: Vetiver
Earthy and rich. Its grassy character harmonises with the citrus top notes, while its elegant intensity grounds and deepens the fragrance.
