Who Is Fatboy?
Fatboy was created by Tyson, an acclaimed hairdresser and founder of Cutler Salon Brooklyn, NYC. Working on hair all day every day, Tyson became frustrated with the lack of styling products that performed and “really did the business”. Tyson set out to change this, and began working on a recipe on the kitchen stove top in his Lower East Side apartment. The result was Perfect Putty. Fatboy the brand was born and Perfect Putty soon became its first hit. Fatboy has since grown into an award winning range of high-performance hair essentials. Tyson is still creating, but long since moved from his kitchen to world class laboratories across the U.S. developing products that you didn’t know you needed, but you certainly won’t be able to live without.
Fatboy Sea Salt Pomade Ingredients
Sea Kelp and Algae extract makes this pomade rich in antioxidants and give the hair a healthy, shiny boost. Coconut oil and Shea Butter help lock in moisture, and enhance strength while protecting your hair against UV damage and preventing split ends.

Directions
- Rub a pea-sized amount between your palms.
- Apply to towel dried hair for a light weight matte result.
- Apply to dry hair to create a beachy texture and separation through the ends.
Smell
No distinct smell at all.
Consistency
Feels like a cream. Has a slight waxiness to it.
Application
Very easy to apply. Creamy application, glides straight in.
Styling
Although Fatboy Sea Salt Pomade feels smooth to style with, it has a piecey separation to it; much like a sea salt spray.
Finish
Matte, separated texture. Hair looks undone and full of texture. Great, natural movement to it.
Hold
Light hold. Great for longer styles to play with all day. Shorter styles (like mine) will need a hairspray to fix in place.
Washability
Easily washed out your hair with just water.
