Moroccanoil Texture Clay is a mouldable, and versatile, product that sculpts and defines the hair. Bentonite clay provides a strong hold, which has been formulated with their signature oil to nourish the hair. It has a non-sticky and non-greasy formula that will leave a matte finish.

How To Use
Rub a small amount between the palms of your hands. Distribute evenly through damp or dry hair.
Aqua/water/eau, vp/va copolymer, bentonite, hydrogenated vegetable oil, lanolin alcohol, caprylic/capric triglyceride, lanolin cera, propylene glycol, glycerin, cera alba/beeswax/cire d’abeille, c18-36 acid triglyceride, tribehenin, peg-40 castor oil, parfum/fragrance, glyceryl stearate se, potassium stearate, cetearyl alcohol, ci 77891 (titanium dioxide), argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, hydrolyzed soy protein, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) flower extract, echinacea purpurea extract, geranium maculatum extract, tocopheryl acetate, hydrated silica, pvp, diheptyl succinate, benzophenone-4, isopropyl alcohol, capryloyl glycerin/sebacic acid copolymer, benzyl alcohol, behentrimonium methosulfate, nylon-10/10, laurtrimonium chloride, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, phenoxyethanol, iron oxides (ci 77492, ci 77499, ci 77491).
The best clay I have used ! The smell, hold, volume,thickening. 5 stars !
The product does what it says for hold and matte(ish) finish. I have only used it a few times however due to it causing my scalp to constantly itch. Never had a hair product affect me like this, so I am not sure if it is the clay they use or what ingredients could be causing the issue.
I love this product. The hold is good for a clay. It is rework-able. The smell takes some getting used to. My hair is thick so this isn’t exactly the best product for my hair type but it did a good job!

I got to say that I was very optimistic when I purchased this clay after watching Robyns video and the effect that I gave to the hair. The first few days as any new product the learning curve was pretty easy, the only problems came trying to wash out the product out of my hair and the persistence of build up that left behind (I’ve been using nioxin for a couple or years and haven’t had any issues)
After the shower my hair was a rats nest of tangles even though I use the nioxin scalp revitalizer and a comb to lessen the stress of pulling the tangles out, as the weeks go by using the clay I’ve been loosing a lot of hair lately. I decided to stop using the clay and giving my hair a break from this sort of products. Any suggestions of styling products to use to create volume, texture and hold? Thank you

Bit of hair spray does the job it’s really good and gives your hair mad texture!
Would this product work with short flat hair?
I purchased the product and I have to say it has very very bad hold. It is pretty much non existent.

I am a 38 year old man with short to medium length curly hair and I have really struggled to find a product that works with my hair. I have pretty much bought every product you can buy on the high street with no success. I got to a point of giving up on my hair as I just couldn’t find a product to manage it. I recently purchased the Moroccanoil texture clay in the hope that it was the answer I had been looking for for so long. I am very pleased to say that to date this product has been a success! I am able to work the product into my hair with ease, and what is so great is that it doesn’t look or feel greasy (one of my pet hates). This product enables me to create hairstyles which to be frank I didn’t think I could with my curls. Such a great product.
AMAZING! I created this account just to say thank you to Robin and the rest of you that helped me find this stuff. Moroccanoil Texture Clay has seriously ended my search, and it’s been a long one… I’ve tried (in no particular order) Layrite Cement Clay, Hanz de Fuko, Baxter of California Clay Pomade, Kevin Murphy Rough Rider, Label M Matte Paste, American Crew Forming Cream, Brickell Men’s Styling Clay Pomade, Suavacito, Blind Barber, BluMaan, and I know I’m forgetting some. Moroccanoil gives my fine hair so much volume, the right amount of hold, a matte finish, and best of all I can re-work it all day. Thank you everyone!

Hi Mattinaz, how long is your hair? I’m thinking of purchasing this product however my hair is decently long and I’m not sure if it will hold well for my type of hairstyle. The hairstyle I’m going for looks like the file I attached.

Very good for my hair type (fine) applies very well, easy to wash out. Weak hold doest last very long however with hairspray you are good for the day
