BluMaan Hybrid Cream Clay

2.02 Star

The BluMaan team say the Hybrid Cream Clay is “great for people with fine or thin hair.” The creamy texture of this clay should provide a smooth application and leave the hair with a natural matte finish. The BluMaan Delayed Hold Activation formula provides a light to medium hold, 15 minutes after application.

Glides in and out of the hair… but a disappointing hold for a product, “great for people with fine or thin hair.” I’d stick with other clay hair products for fine or thin hair.

Directions

Take a small amount and spread it evenly across both palms. Push your hands through your hair until you get the loose, messy and relaxed hairstyle you desire. Or grab your comb for a cleaner look. Apply more product if necessary until you achieve the style and hold you’re looking for.

The Delayed Hold Activation feature delivers stronger hold 15 minutes after application to help you achieve the style you’re looking for.

Benefits

  • Light-Medium Hold – The product’s Delayed Hold Activation combines a smooth application with a formidable hold. Expect a firmer hold for fine or thin hair types. Use more product for a stronger hold
  • Smooth and Creamy – Thick and creamy consistency makes it easy to apply.
  • Natural Textured Finish – Achieve a textured and effortless look with a natural finish.
  • Nourishes and Cleanses – The blend of butters, oils and sea clays nourishes your hair with vitamins, and lightly cleanses it too.

This product is the weakest in the blumaan line but however it only works when you have a hairstyle that is more of a cropped messy fringe hairstyle. Anyway this product isn’t targeted for guys who have thick hair like myself. I would reach for other water based clays over this like Clutch from the salon guy or Anchors courage clay because both of these products offer me a stronger hold and shape to my hair.

Better than Monarch but I have to use a LOT to get any sort of lasting hold. That being said, the hold doesn’t last very long. You’re better off with a different clay. Unfortunately another let-down from the Blumaan line.
