Dark Amber & Ginger Lily is part of the Jo Malone Kohdo Wood collection. At the base of this relaxing cologne is the rare Kyara which a highly prized wood used in Japanese intense ceremonies. Black cardamom is blended with orchid and water lily to create this sensual and beautiful scent.

I don’t normally think of Jo Malone‘s fragrances as head-turners, as they tend to be quite light, feminine and something that can be worn during the daytime. This Dark Amber & Ginger Lily is quite the opposite and certainly packs a punch. The amber, in particular, gives this fragrance a great warmth and lets it sit really well on the skin.
