This leather Eau de Parfum from Carolina Herrera is rather unusual compared to other traditional leather fragrances. It’sactually quite light. It is definitely a floral scent due to the jasmine sitting at the heart and the patchouli at the base.
This is expensive, so my top tip is to try and grab a sample before you make a purchase.

What They Say
Platinum Leather pairs clay aromas of refined fibers with the allure of a sumptuous Arab evening that leaves an indelible mark, recreating its captivating radiance. Traditional and contemporary, raw and luxurious: contradictions converge in this fragrant synthesis of the Carolina Herrera style.
A Juxtaposition of Tradition & Modernity
Formulated by Perfumer Amandine Clerc Marie under the artistic direction of Carolina Herrera de Baez, Platinum Leather fractures the standard use of leather into conflicting shards. The outcome is a contemporary, yet very sensual darkness where sweetness is merely an accent. The overall tension between woody, and smoky strokes manages to strengthen its chilly elegance. A juxtaposition where the luxurious Jasmine Sambac harmonizes with the sensuality of Leather around which everything happens.
