Forget the Easter egg, I want this crocodile leather t-shirt!*
The Hermès 100% crocodile skin t-shirt has gone on sale at the brand’s Madison Avenue flagship. Priced at $91,500, the t-shirt has been mooted to be the most expensive t-shirt in New York City.
But obviously, not everyone is going wild for the crocodile creation. The animal rights group PETA branded the t-shirt “cheap looking and ludicrous” and said, “Most people nowadays want to avoid looking like ignorant barbarians.”
I’m guessing some poor designer at H&M or Primark has been tasked with creating a copy… I’ll be first in line for this bad boy (priced at £9.99 – I hope!).
*I do not support animal cruelty. I’m sure that this crocodile was either dead already or had committed some major (I mean MAJOR) acts of human cruelty. Also, I’ve included a quote from PETA. Balanced, right?
