Tom Ford sold his company (and name!) to Estee Lauder companies in late 2022 for a reported $2.8 million. Great that he has the cash but now he also has below-par products forever attached to his name.
My issue is the pricing strategy. £280 for a 5oml bottle. The juice doesn’t warrant that price tag.
It’s fun, and it’s nice, but it’s nothing hugely special.
It’s like you’ve been sipping on a cherry brandy whilst at a bonfire. Tom Ford Cherry Smoke starts smoky, moves to cherry and finishes on a light fruity base.
