This is my new favourite fragrance from Lila Nur. It’s exquisite!
I wore Zafran Boisé a lot last week, feeling the need for a scent that felt commanding yet comforting. And this gave me exactly that.
I truly knew this was an incredible scent when I had three separate people stop me to ask me what I was wearing. I asked them if it was too loud or too strong, but they all said how warm and comforting it smelled.
Created by Honorine Blanc (YSL Black Opium, Tom Ford Noir Anthracite, LilaNur Davana Cedre), LilaNur Zafran Boisé is very true to her fragrance DNA – multi-faceted and addictive. It’s a beautiful woody spicy scent, with sweet yet earthy saffron, powdery rose and a warming base of sandalwood and oud.

Zafran Boisé is inspired by the Kahwah tea ritual of Kashmir. Celebrated for its warming effect and rich flavour, this smokey infusion of green tea leaves, medley of aromatic spices, fragrant flower petals and honey is slowly brewed over a wood-burning fire. Served from a copper vessel called a Samovar, the Kahwah is adorned with a sprinkling of crushed almonds and dried rose petals and crowned with strands of saffron, often referred to as “red gold”.
