Why We Love It:
Not at all what I thought it would be like. For me, a ‘texturising clay’ suggests a dry clay product, gritty in texture that can be used to build volume and definition.
Forte Series Texture Clay by Alex Costa, however, is dense and extremely waxy. That’s not a bad thing at all, it’s just not what you’d expect.
Waxy in consistency and styling, this most certainly is a high hold (it’s thick and makes the hair stand up!) styling product; but is not matte in finish.
Despite being waxy, it washes out with ease, leaving the hair feeling soft and conditioned – almost like you’ve used a hair treatment mask.
My issue with this product launch by Alex Costa is that it isn’t a clay. This is a high hold wax product with a low to medium shine. This is not a clay.

I think this is a solid product but you need to know how to use it. When I first used it I grabbed to much and my hair just flopped down. You want to start with a small amount like Alex says and start from the roots, if the product is mostly on the ends of your hair then it will not stand up and just proceed to flop down. Less is more with this product!!!
This product gives me a high hold, natural finish and is surprisingly easy to apply since their is so much beeswax in the product. My hair type is thick straight to wavyish hair. I’d recommenced this product mainly for people with thick hair since this product is so dense and thick.
4/5 Stars
good product the only problem is if you use a bit too much it makes your hair spiky
