Tie-Dye | Shop The Trend | S/S13

You really can’t miss the current high street tie-dye trend… and you really shouldn’t!

It’s a bold look and not for the style faint-hearted, but it is fun and perfect for this season.

Wear tie-dye with…

1. A tie-dye t-shirt under a fitted blazer and slim fit chinos to keep your day-to-day workwear fresh and on trend. 
2. A loose fit, slouched tie-dye t-shirt over skinny jeans and worker boots for the ultimate in streetwear.

Vintage and second-hand shops are your best bet for tie-dye. It’ll be authentic (think 90s rave!) and have a worn-in, grunge look. A favourite place of mine is Beyond Retro on Great Marlborough Street in London. Enter the shop from the main street and take a right into menswear where you’ll find an array of tie-dye goodness – arranged in colour order!

Failing that, the concession sections of Urban Outfitters and Topman are a pretty good shout… and if you want to keep it online, check out these tie-dye search filters on ASOS and eBay.
