If only I could have spent the week enjoying the S/S14 delights of Rio Fashion Week. Sun, sea and style – what could have been better?
Flicking through the pics from the shows (15-19 April), it’s clear that Brazil has some great design talent that certainly appeal to my sense of style.
R. Groove is one such brand. Founded in 2007 by Rio-born fashion designer Rique Gonçalves, his focus on print, cut and textile technology directly translates into his R.Groove collection – offering ‘fun, funky and comfortable menswear’.
The S/S14 R.Groove showcase had two very distinct and individual styles – one of bold fruit prints on loose-fit t-shirts and fitted jackets; and the other, bold shirts and t-shirts with horizontal stripes and sheer paneling.
Not gonna lie, I absolutely need the pineapple t-shirt and jacket combo in my life!
