Why We Love It:
I have always loved Molton Brown‘s Russian Leather so I’m really very pleased that they’ve launched an eau de parfum version.
This has the deep, dark and warming qualities of some of my favourite leather scents; but with the vibrant and spicy opening of black pepper.
Combine this with the sweet and dewy notes of Siberian Pine and you’ve got yourself the perfect autumn/winter fragrance.
Molton Brown Russian Leather Key Notes

London via Siberia
Unbounded steppes contour bleak passes, glaciated peaks set a stark mood. Thick snow whites out all in its wake; enveloping deserted paths in an intriguing blank canvas. The eerie solace of Chuysky Trakt softened by a lavender-infused breeze, a roaring lakeside fire crackles with birch and leather-rich heat. Shroud yourself in the enigmatic strength of a winter desert.
Intense. Dark. Enigmatic.
About The Molton Brown Eau De Parfum Collection
Molton Brown launched their first selection of eau de parfum in August 2019, forming part of the New Guard Collective.
An industry game-changer, this collection of unique olfactive creations has been imagined hand-in-hand with 10 visionary perfumers from a variety of ages, backgrounds and experiences to conceptualise truly experimental and diverse scents. From Master Perfumers Jacques Chabert and Beverley Bayne, acclaimed Senior Perfumers Maiฬa Lernout and Sylvie Fischer through to new generation stars such as Jeฬroฬme di Marino, these bold creators were unified by one founding vision; to express your own unfiltered truth.
The Eaux de Parfum spearhead this daring new direction. They are fragrances at their most pure; blended with a more intense oil concentration and an additional perfumer-picked signature note to contrast, complement or enrich the original Eaux de Toilette.
The Collections
Featuring iconic packaging by renowned designer Vincent Villeger, the collectionsโ bold aesthetic is handmade by artisans in England with a contemporary take on the brandโs seventies heritage.
โMy ambition was to express the individual character of each fragrance. The concave reflective surfaces reference the brandโs iconic lens and throw colourful distortions reminiscent of 70s pop art. Heavy, smoky brown glass gives the bottle a luxury feel befitting the quality of the scents, whilst each Eau de Parfum cap carries an individual sphere inspired by the eclectic architectural finishes in Londonโs Mayfair, the home of Molton Brown.โ

Love this scent but the recent EDT from Molton Brown have no longevity. The comments on their own webpage reflect this too. I doubt I’ll purchase EDT from them again.
I love their scents too.
The EDP (this one!) definitely has longevity. I think you’ll like it!
