One of my favourite styling products by Amercian Crew. I’d call it more of a ‘cream wax’ than ‘cream pomade’ but who cares (I clearly do!), it styles well.
A light hold with natural shine.

How to use it
Work a small amount evenly through dry or towel dried hair and style as desired. Avoid eye contact.

I had been using this pomade for a week, along with Bumble and Bumble tonic primer, which is fantastic. I was applying around a dime size of product, after pre styling, blow drying w/ medium height heat and cold air, finishing with a conservative application of hairspray.
I really liked the look and feel of my hair but a coworker happened to notice some white flakes on the back and sides of my hair. Nothing terrible, for sure not dandruff but not the look I want. When I got home I lightly brushed the top and sides of my hair and took the attached photo.
I stopped using for two day and the chalky flakes were no longer present but I wanted to give this product another try… unfortunately the chalky flakes were back. It was not noticeable at the office or when I was out but will be returning this product to Ulta.
