Yves Saint Laurent (also known as YSL or Saint Laurent) was founded by Yves Saint Laurent in 1961 and his partner Pierre Bergé. He was hailed for modern designs and it has now become one of the world’s most iconic luxurious fashion houses. Yves actually created his first fragrance, Y, very early on in 1964 in collaboration with parfumeur Jean Amic. He launched his first men’s fragrance, Pour Homme, in 1971 with a rather controversial image of himself wearing no clothes!
