Jean Paul Gaultier

French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier started his own line in 1982. He was previously labelled as the ‘enfant terrible‘ of the fashion world due to his daring and eccentric designs.

He created his first men’s fragrance in 1995, called Le Male. Jean Paul Gaultier fragrances are immediately recognisable by the silhouette of a male torso, and the bottles have been featured in limited edition designs. Le Male still remains a top-selling men’s fragrance today.
