Frédéric Malle inherited his skilled nose for fragrance from his grandfather, Serge Heftler-Louiche, who was the founder of Parfums Christian Dior. Fast-forward to today and he is praised in the fragrance industry for his extremely creative and unconventional approach. He encourages his team of perfumers to become artists of their own fragrances, in order to produce some of the most unique Frédéric Malle scents.
