Arthur Conti’s Hair: Short Curly Hairstyle
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice actor Arthur Conti’s hair has all the prerequisites a budding romantic lead movie star needs: thick, glossy, curls and a great cut that’s styled to frame his face perfectly.
Why We Love It:
Arthur Conti’s hair has a distinctly gothic vibe. His curly hair which is naturally a rich brown, has been dyed black. Possibly a leftover habit from his time on goth-com film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice?
MFH has some intel on who tamed Arthur’s curls for his appearance at the Venice Film Festival: @gianni.crispino using @kerastase_official products.
The 20-year-old English actor is still fairly new to the red carpet malarkey, telling British GQ that when he first saw his slim-fitting Celine suit, with a cream roll-neck jumper to wear underneath, he stressed out a little.
โThere was no tie! I panicked, because apparently the dress code is black tie,” he told the magazine.
“I texted everyone on my team. I was like, โDoes that literally mean black tie? Iโm going to get turned away from the premiere!โ but [I was] assured that it’s fine. They sent me some photos of Timothรฉe Chalamet not wearing a tie to relax me.โ
What To Ask Your Barber:
- If you’re keen on Arthur Conti’s hair, ask for a softly graduated style that has a subtle mullet vibe.
- The hair is cut into a gently rounded shape.
- Arthur’s hair has a fair amount of length at the top, is shorter at the sides, then graduates to just above collar length at the back.
- Your barber/hairdresser will texturise the hair throughout with thinning scissors to get rid of some of the weight.
- This will allow the curls to sit well, give them nice movement, and make it easier to style your hair.
Get The Look
- Arthur Conti’s hair is in great condition and frizz-free, so follow these tips.
- Always gently pat your hair dry with a towel. Donโt rub it, as that’s the quickest way to encourage breakage and frizz.
- Even better, invest in a microfibre hair wrap, which helps soak the moisture out of your hair gently and quickly.
- Try not to wash the hair more than 2-3 times a week.
- Use a leave-in conditioner that is suitable for curly hair.
- Once a week use a deep conditioning treatment.
- To style, apply a curl cream to damp hair bring out the natural texture of your curls.
- Then use a volumising product, like mousse, applying with your fingers.
- Spritz your hair with heat protector.
- Comb through with a wide-toothed comb.
- For a natural finish, get a diffuser attachment for your hair dryer which spreads out the airflow to help the curls stay structured.
- Set your hairdryer on low or medium heat to minimise damage and frizz while preserving the natural curl pattern.
- Gently hold the diffuser up against your hair, drying one section at a time, and scrunching the hair with your fingers, too.
- Tilt your head to different angles and gently scrunch your hair with your hands while drying to encourage natural waves and volume.
- Once dry, apply a small amount of lightweight styling cream to hold the waves in place without making them stiff.
- For added shine, you can use a couple of drops of hair oil.
- Sleeping on a silk pillowcase reduces friction, which can lead to frizz and breakage, keeping your waves smooth.
