Shaving is something that you need to get right. The wrong type of razor or shaver can not only determine how you look, but more importantly how you feel.

I was sent the Philips PT920 PowerTouch Pro Shaver to try. As someone who is used to a wet shave, I was definitely intrigued to give it a go. How would it work? Would I need to use any gels or creams? How would I keep it clean? Would it save me time? And most importantly, how would it fare on my super sensitive neck area?
With three TripleTrack rotating blades, smart pivot to flex against every contour of your face and a pop-up trimmer, the PT920 promises to be an all in one shave solution.
Fully charged in just an hour, the shaver offers over 60 minutes worth of shaving time. And, if you’re in a rush, with no battery power, 3 minutes worth of charge is enough for one shave. I’ve tried it and it works!
But perhaps the best and most useful feature of this shaver is that it is fully washable. Yes, washable! Rinsing the heads under the tap after every shave helps to keep the three triple heads clean, ensuring a close shave every time.
The good, the bad, the verdict – below the video
- It’s so easy to use.
- It’s at least halved my shave time in the morning.
- It charges so quickly and lasts for ages.
- It’s so small and can fit perfectly into a gym bag.
- You can rinse the head under the tap. I love this feature.
- Nothing gets as close as a wet shave.
- It sometimes felt a bit raw against my neck. I used a shave oil to ease the glide of the shaver.
If you’re short on time in the morning or just want to keep yourself looking tidy, an electric shaver could be a fantastic option for you.
What I’ve loved about this shaver is how simple and easy to use it is. As someone who’s up at the crack of dawn for the gym in the morning, the last thing I want to be doing is faffing around with razors, potions and lotions. This electric shaver has taken the fuss out of shaving, halved my bathroom time whilst allowing more (much needed) beauty sleep. Surely it’s worth buying just for that!?
