Why We Love It:
Sophisticated and elegant, Miller Harris Celadon has fast become a fragrance that I love to wear.
Celadon is very much a modern classic that masterfully blends fresh green notes with a heart of neroli and jasmine, grounded by vetiver.
One of its USPs is the inclusion of tomato leaf, a note rarely seen in men’s fragrances. The note adds a crisp, green freshness reminiscent of a sun-warmed garden, enhancing the fragrance’s complexity.
The base of amber and musk adds a warm, sensual finish, creating a scent that evolves beautifully throughout the day, making it suitable for any occasion
In terms of performance, its longevity and projection are both moderate. Much like the notes, itโs moderate and considered.

What They Say
A dewy shower of rain set against a story of the jade stone. Enchanting with opening green notes of tomato leaf and tea to recall the grass and the jade stone at the centre of the masterpiece โDream of the Red Chamberโ by Cao Xuequin.
Citrus notes sparkle with cardamom, tranquil magnolia and mate tea take us on a journey of discovery. Lavender and white musk evoke purity. The red shadows of autumn are represented by red fruits. Indian tuberose brings a creamy elegance and depth to contrast the bright opening.
The character of the fragrance evolves with a woody notes of cedarwood, moss and smoky notes.
Celadon is inspired by a page from the ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’. The page describes a key moment from the book where a poetry club has formed by a group of women in the novel and the page is collection of all their input to a group poem, describing the crab blossom. Overloaded with descriptive feeling, the page speaks of a โShower of rainโ, โthe purity of the snowโ, the โsunโs rays and mossy potsโ and โthe beauteous jadeโ. This world of waxy green grass and clear white purity informed Karineโs sparkling interpretation in Celadon. She wanted to use notes that felt unique to the Chinese origin of the novel, so the cardamom, magnolia, the smoked tea, and mate take us to China.
