For me and my hair type with this product there is literally nothing amazing about this because I have tried other matte pastes that perform better than this. The positives about the product is that it does hold better than Anti Gravity by the Lockhart’s and it makes my hair softer without looking too dry in the hair. However when comparing it to other matte pastes that I have tested out, there are better stuff out there for a better price point like Arcadian Matte paste. This is one of those products that I will probably not get again
My first impression of this product was its not very good.
But once I gave it a full go I am impressed with it, its really easy to go into the hair and very rework-able, its soft and creamy.
recommend trying.
Pros
Soft
Easy to apply
Matte finish
Cons
Hold
I’ve got really fine, straight, wiry hair so generally i get a lot of drop and single strands just doing what they want when using a paste. I don’t have that problem with this stuff though. It’s got a fantastic hold and it never really feels like I need to layer in more than the tiniest bit. My hair goes where I want it, and the product feels incredibly light even though the hold is anything but. This is by far the best paste I’ve tried, and I’d highly recommend it if you’ve got hair like mine.
Started using this product recently. So far it’s fantastic for a paste. I have thick, straight, coarse hair and it worked really well. It kept my hair up much better than previous paste’s I have used in the past.
I only gave it four stars because I had to use a bit more product than I was hoping to use in order to get the look I wanted. I’m sure once I can get a haircut it will work much much better.
Bottom line: Highly recommend even if you have hair similar to mine.
This is by far one of the best matte paste products around. I have been using this for over two years now and even when I go to try something new, I end up coming back; simply put it works!
Note: I have dark brown, fine hair but loads of it. Shorter on the side, messy quiff or fluffed straight back are my day to day styles.
