Wella

Wella is a german haircare brand that has a history that reaches back to 1880. The brand was founded by Franz Ströher who actually started the brand by making tulles (the base) for wigs. After wigs went out of fashion Ströher moved into hair waving products (such as perming instruments), which is where the name comes from (Dauerwellapparat – german for ‘permanent wave device’). They were actually the first brand to create hairdryers with built in motors.

Today, Wella is a professional haircare brand that is respected and used by salons across the world. It specialises in styling products and hair colour.
