Braun

The Braun we know today, was quite different back in 1921 when Max Braun started his company by making radio sets. During World War II, practically all his factories were destroyed and he had to re-build his company. After this delay, Max Braun launched his first electric shaver in 1950. The design featured an oscillating cutter block and steel foil mounted above, which is still used in the electric shavers today.

Shaving and grooming currently remain the core categories of the brand.
