1. ABOUT THE PROMOTION

Man For Himself has teamed up with the Harley Street Hair Clinic (“HSHC”) for a promotional marketing campaign. Successful entrants in the promotion have the chance of winning a free FUE hair transplant procedure at the HSHC (“Procedure”) located in London’s famed Harley Street.

Further, for up to 20 shortlisted candidates that were not successful in winning the Procedure, the HSHC will provide a free consultation and exclusive discounted rates in the event that they decide to book a procedure.

 

2. IMPORTANT INFORMATION & DISCLAIMER

This promotion concerns a medical procedure that will be carried out by physicians employed at HSHC. The information provided in these terms and conditions is for information purposes and in relation to the promotion only.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions and/or this promotion by Man For Himself is intended as medical advice on which reliance should be placed or as a substitute for advice, diagnosis or treatment prescribed by a qualified physician. As with any medical procedure you are urged and advised to consult with a qualified physician before entering into this promotion with a view to undergoing the Procedure. By entering this promotion you warrant and represent that you are not a minor and that you have no underlying health conditions that would otherwise prevent you from undergoing the Procedure. Man For Himself makes no representation or warranties in connection with the Procedure and expressly disclaims any and all liability and responsibility arising from the Procedure and any adverse effects arising from the same.

 

3. HOW TO ENTER

The promotion is free to enter to all participants. To qualify for the promotion you must:

• Be over 18 and be based in the UK;
• Have no underlying health conditions that would prevent you from undergoing the Procedure;
• Complete this form and ensure your information is accurate in absolute.
• Must be available to undergo the Procedure on 23 April 2021 – this is important as this date may not be changed (subject to a Force Majeure Event – detailed below).

4. CLOSING DATE, SHORTLIST SELECTION & WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Entry for the promotion will close on 11^th March 2021. After this date no further entrants will be considered eligible for the promotion. The winner will be announced and contacted on 19^th March 2021.

Of the qualifying entrants, a shortlist of 30 entrants will be chosen at random using a random selection tool.

Of those 30 shortlisted entrants, 1 prospective winner will be chosen at random.

The prospective winner will be required to send photos and/or videos to HSHC in respect of their hair loss for doctors at HSHC doctors to examine.

If the prospective winner is deemed suitable for the Procedure by HSHC (at HSHC’s sole discretion), the prospective winner shall be invited to HSHC for a full consultation at the clinic and they will be announced as the winner. If, for whatever reason, the prospective winner is deemed unsuitable to undergo the procedure by HSHC, the process outlined above will be repeated from the shortlist candidates until a winner is chosen.

The first 20 remaining shortlisted entrants to contact the clinic at paige@hshairclinic.co.uk following the announcement of the winner quoting ‘Man For Himself’ will receive a free consultation and exclusive discount rates if they book a procedure within 12 months of the competition winner being announced.

 

5. ON THE DAY

The Procedure will be undertaken in one session and will take one day and will involve approximately 1,000 – 2,000 grafts.

The winner will be required to travel to the HSHC located at 75 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 9RS on 21 April 2021 and arrive approximately at 8:30am on that date. The Procedure is anticipated to finish at about 6pm on the same day but may take longer depending on the number of grafts required.

Please note that whilst the Procedure will be provided by the HSHC completely free of charge, any travel, accommodation and/or subsistence costs are not included as part of this promotion.

 

6. OTHER CONDITIONS

As part of the Procedure, the winner will be required to document their progress with the Procedure and be required to make himself/herself available for content creation prior to and following the Procedure. The winner will also be required to visit the HSHC 6 months and 12 months after the procedure for a check-up and for content creation for HSHC marketing purposes.

Photos/videos of the winner may be shared across Man For Himself and/or HSHC’s website and/or social channels and HSHC will require full usage of this content, including the ability to use it in paid for advertising. The Harley Street Hair Clinic will require full worldwide usage of the content in its entirety in perpetuity.

 

7. GENERAL

By entering this promotion, you acknowledge and agree that Man For Himself will be collecting on behalf of HSHC certain personal data, namely: your name, age, gender, email, contact information and others details regarding your suitability to undergo the Procedure such as whether you have any underlying health conditions or are on medication that HSHC should be aware of (“Personal Data”). This Personal Data is processed strictly for the purposes of this promotion so that we can ensure that qualifying entrants can participate equally and fairly but also so that we can contact the successful winner and shortlist entrants to provide them with further updates about the progress of this promotion. For the avoidance of doubt, this Personal Data is shared with HSHC only and so that HSHC may properly fulfil their obligations toward potential patients as a medical advisor given the nature of the Procedure. This Personal Data will treated in accordance with any applicable data protection legislation in force from time to time in the UK including the Data Protection Act 1998 or 2018 or any successor legislation. Such Personal Data as supplied in the Form above will be kept for a period as necessarily required for this promotion and, in any event, such records shall be deleted within 12 months from the end of the promotion.

HSHC shall not be liable to perform the Procedure on 21 April 2021 or otherwise liable for any travel, accommodation and/or subsistence costs incurred by the winner and/or shortlist entrant (as applicable) visiting HSHC in the event that HSHC is closed as a result of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, disability or incapacity, national emergencies, war, act of terrorism, prohibitive governmental regulation or labour disputes involving HSHC.

For the avoidance of doubt if as a result of any act of God, war, accident, strike, lock-out or other labour controversy, riot, restraint of public authority, or any similar occurrence, including and without limitation relating to COVID-19 (“Force Majeure Event”), either HSHC the winner and/or shortlist entrant (as applicable) shall fail or be unable to undergo or render the Procedure, or attend a consultation in the case of a shortlist entrant, HSHC shall have the option (but not the duty) to re-schedule the Procedure or consultation (as applicable) for a period of up to 30 days after the Force Majeure Event. If during this period either party is unable to reschedule the Procedure or consultation in line with the other’s availability, then the parties will have no further obligations to one another.
