Creating this article has been a very last-minute decision for me. To be honest, I hate the hype and consumerism that surrounds Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The whole BF campaign (let’s be real, it’s a marketing campaign) encourages us to gorge on price drops and ‘exclusive’ deals, spending money we wouldn’t normally spend on stuff we don’t need.
BUT… if you’ve had your eye on any of these things, or fancy buying them for a loved one, now could be the time to do it. There’s no mistaking that times are tough, so take the deals where you can get them.
Some of the best things I’ve picked up over the past few years have been a memory foam mattress (needed and wanted!), an electric shaver (it’s still going, and I still love it), and a fragrance that I just couldn’t justify out of the sale.
So, shop with intention and shop with care. Remember: It’s not a bargain if you don’t need it… or, at least, truly want it.
