General Interactivity Terms

1. General guidelines
These terms and conditions apply to any Man For Himself interactive service which invites you to interact with any Man For Himself channel platform (the “channel”) via any stated methods or media, including without limitation where you respond by submitting comment(s) or content (“content”) which may include but is not limited to photograph(s), video, audio, live-media images, drawings and/or other designs (the “interactive service”). References to “contribution(s)” in these terms and conditions include content and/or other participation in the interactive service as applicable.
These terms and conditions may be amended or varied at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the website at www.manforhimself.com. It is your responsibility to ensure you review these terms and conditions regularly to familiarise yourself with any changes. Man For Himself recommends that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference.
2. Eligibility
Where it is permitted in Man For Himself’s discretion, if you are under 18 years old, you must have parental or legal guardian permission before participating in the interactive service and you agree that Man For Himself or authorised third parties may contact your parent or legal guardian to verify such prior permission.
If Man For Himself suspects that you are not eligible to participate in the interactive service under these terms and conditions or otherwise at Man For Himself’s discretion, Man For Himself reserve the right to terminate or suspend your participation in the interactive service. Man For Himself may require you to provide proof of age and eligibility, and you may further be required by Man For Himself and/or authorised parties to provide your signature (and that of your parent or legal guardian if you are under 18) as proof of your agreement to any relevant waivers, releases and/or consents that Man For Himself requires. Failure to provide valid and current proof of age and/or eligibility, or to provide your signature (or your parent or legal guardian’s signature as the case may be) as required, may result in your contribution no longer being considered.
You may participate in the interactive service as many times as you wish, unless otherwise stated in the promotional information or any additional terms and conditions for the interactive service.
Man For Himself will not return any content sent in to the interactive service, unless otherwise stated. It is recommended that you send in copies rather than original material.
3. Method and cost of participation
Availability times: You may participate in the interactive service by following the instructions indicated during the dates and times as stated in the promotional information for the interactive service.
Method: You may participate in the interactive service via the media and/or method(s) as stated in the promotional information or any additional terms and conditions for the interactive service. You should comply with any restrictions specified in the promotional information or any additional terms and conditions for the interactive service including without limitation submitting contribution(s) in a stated media or format. Failure to comply with such restrictions may mean that your contribution(s) may not be considered but you may still incur charges where applicable. Please note that your use of any third-party sites or services is subject to their terms of use and privacy policy. You agree that it is your responsibility to have available the technology, network connection and/or software required as stated in the promotional information for the interactive service.
You may not participate in the interactive service via any other media and/or method(s) not specified in the promotional information or any additional terms and conditions for the interactive service, or outside of the date(s) and time(s) specified. Contribution(s) made via other media and/or method(s) or outside of the stated date(s) and time(s) may not be considered or included in the programme, and you may incur charges where applicable.
Man For Himself and their sub-contractors bear no responsibility for any contribution which is incorrectly addressed, lost in transit, or damaged or interrupted in any way. Contributions sent in by post are deemed received upon arrival.Man For Himself is not responsible for any irregularities, industrial action or disruption affective any delivery method andMan For Himself will not be held liable in any such event.
Required information: You may be required to provide personal contact information and other details when participating in the interactive service, including without limitation your name and mobile/daytime contact telephone number. Failure to include the required information may result in your participation in the interactive service not being considered but you may incur charges where applicable.
Cost: Any applicable charges for participating in the interactive service are as indicated in the relevant promotional information or any additional terms and conditions for the interactive service. Permission of the bill payer must be obtained before participating in the interactive service. There will be no refunds for the cost of participating in the interactive service. There is no charge when participating in the interactive service via email, freephone number(s), post or via the internet unless otherwise stated. Internet service provider’s and or mobile network operator’s fees may apply when you access the internet. Sufficient postage must be paid when using post.
4. Submissions and Licence
All contributions are considered as “Submissions” (as defined below) and are subject to the following terms.
If you wish to submit any contribution to or via any Man For Himself interactive services or upload any content such as any text (including, for instance, on any YouTube videos, articles or product pages), photographs, graphics, video or audio to the Services (“Submission”), you agree that any Submission you make is subject to the following terms, except where expressly stated otherwise by Man For Himself in any additional terms and conditions that apply to a specific service, platform or programme.
As between you and Man For Himself, you retain all ownership rights in any Submission you may make. You promise that your Submission is your own original work, and that you are the owner of any Submission you make or that you have all necessary licences, rights, consents, and permissions to authorise Man For Himself to use your Submission. In particular, you promise that you have obtained the permission of all of the people featured or referred to in the Submission (and if they are under 18, the permission of their parents or guardians as well) to Man For Himself’s use of the Submission. You agree to give Man For Himself evidence of all such licences, rights, consents, and permissions if so requested by Man For Himself. You acknowledge that the contents of any Submission will be considered non-confidential.
By making a Submission to or via any Man For Himself services, you grant Man For Himself a licence (which means permission) to use, edit, reproduce, record, modify, enhance, encode, translate, distribute, play, perform, make available to other users, prepare derivative works of and to display your Submission by any media or methods whether now known or later developed, which licence may be exercised in Man For Himself’s sole discretion throughout the world at any time. This licence includes the right for Man For Himself to make available your Submission together with advertising and/or sponsorship content which Man For Himself may included in, on or around your Submission.
You agree that this licence is: perpetual (which means it lasts forever); non-exclusive (which means you are free to grant this permission to other parties as well); royalty-free (which means Man For Himself won’t pay for the permission either now or in the future); and transferable (which means Man For Himself can transfer the licence to Man For Himself group companies or any other third party) and you agree that Man For Himself can sub-license this licence (which means Man For Himself can grant an equivalent permission to Man For Himself group companies or other third parties in respect of your Submission). You also agree to waive your “moral rights” in your Submission.
You are responsible for the contents of any Submission you may make and the consequences arising from its use on any Man For Himself platforms or channels and/or as part of any Man For Himself services or on any third party platform, channel or service. You will not upload any material or content which is in any way defamatory, obscene, unlawful, harmful, offensive or inappropriate or infringes the rights of a third party or may have the effect of being harassing, threatening, abusive or hateful or that otherwise degrades, discriminates against or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, disability or any other legally protected characteristic. You agree not to infringe any laws in producing or making a Submission. You agree not to transfer files which contain viruses or other harmful programs. Further, you must not endanger yourself or others, or take any unnecessary risks in order to produce or make a Submission. You promise that you will not make any Submission which in any way infringes any applicable laws or infringes the rights of a third party (such as any Submission which contains third party content such as music, third party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculpture).
You also agree not to advertise or promote third parties’ or your own goods or services in any Submission, including but not limited to by way of the distribution of “spam” email. In addition, you agree not to use any Man For Himself services to provide links to third party websites.
Man For Himself may accept, modify, withdraw or refuse to display your Submission at any time at Man For Himself’s sole and absolute discretion. Man For Himself may do this without notice to you for any reason, including, without limitation, where Man For Himself suspect that your Submission does not comply with these terms and conditions.
You (or your parent or legal guardian if you are under 18) may, at our discretion or at the discretion of the producer of the applicable programme, be required to sign a subsequent consent form and/or subsequent release and/or to grant any additional rights which may be required by us or the producer with respect to your Submission.
You agree that Man For Himself may authorise any third party to exercise any of the rights that you grant to Man For Himself under these terms and conditions, which may be in addition to or instead of Man For Himself exercising them. To the extent that the third party exercises any such rights, you acknowledge that it does so in its own right and not on behalf of Man For Himself, and Man For Himself bears no responsibility for the consequences of any such use by the third party.
Please note that Man For Himself cannot accept any Submission containing any music, save where expressly permitted by Man For Himself.
5. Contact
By submitting contribution(s) to the interactive service, you agree that Man For Himself and/or authorised third parties may contact you in connection with the programme and/or interactive service and/or for participation in a programme.
6. General
Man For Himself does not guarantee that all persons who submitted a contribution to the interactive service will be contacted. Man For Himself does not guarantee, represent, undertake or warrant that it or any authorised third parties will broadcast on YouTube or make available in any other content, or that your contribution(s) will be considered or will otherwise be used in whole or in part despite being received by us, even if you have received an acknowledgment of sent and/or receipt message.
You acknowledge and agree that Man For Himself may in its sole discretion include your contribution and your personal details in the programme and/or in any future content, on website(s) including without limitation on www.manforhimself.com or in any other media in connection with the channel or otherwise make it public via any media or otherwise exploit it in any manner without notice and without any fee being paid.
Man For Himself and/or third parties authorised by Man For Himself may modify any contribution(s), or may accept it, or refuse to consider it in their sole and absolute discretion. You agree that all or part of your contribution including your personal details may be edited, adapted, displayed or published in all media and/or otherwise made publicly available in the discretion of Man For Himself and/or authorised parties. If Man For Himself, in their sole discretion, deems it necessary to do so it may disguise and/or conceal the identity of a participant in the interactive service. If you make contribution(s) via methods or media which are available to the public, Man For Himself recommends that you do not publicly disclose personal contact information including but not limited to addresses or phone numbers.
Man For Himself reserves the right to vary any element of the interactive service and/or to suspend or discontinue the interactive service without notice, due to system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Man For Himself including but not limited to strike, lock-out, labour dispute, illness, act of God, natural disaster, adverse weather conditions, war, riot, civil commotion, accident, epidemic or pandemic, malicious damage, fire, flood and/or storm, compliance with a law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, breakdown of plant, machinery or transportation. Man For Himself will not be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the interactive service and/or system is discontinued, suspended, modified or changed in any way.
Man For Himself cannot promise that the interactive service and/or system will be free from errors or omissions, nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. Man For Himself does not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem including without limitation with any telecommunications network or line, system, delivery system or technology, software, server, service, provider which may result in any contribution being lost or not properly received, registered, heard or recorded. Man For Himself may suspend, withdraw or re-set the interactive service in its sole discretion at any time.
Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Privacy
Information and data (“personal data”) which is provided by you when you participate in the interactive service will be held and used by Man For Himself, their service providers, network operators, suppliers and contractors in connection with your participation in the interactive service and the programme where applicable. Some of these third party companies are either located and/or have servers which are located outside the European Economic Area. Where Man For Himself shares your information with such companies, Man For Himself will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with Man For Himself’s privacy policy. However, please note that the data protection and other laws of such countries may not be as comprehensive as those in the European Economic Area.

Man For Himself will only pass your data to third parties for marketing purposes if you have accepted to receive marketing information from those third parties.
8. Queries/complaints
If you have a query or complaint about the interactive service, you may register it with Man For Himself by email at info@manforhimself.com. You will need to give the following information:
a) Your name;
b) Your email address or the phone number, as relevant;
c) The IP number of your computer, if relevant;
d) If possible, your internet service provider;
e) The date(s) and time(s) when you experienced problems;
f) The nature of the problem you have experienced;
g) A contact telephone number you can be reached on, if necessary;
h) The name of the town/city and country you are resident of.
