27 Feb H&M Debut | Paris Fashion Week | A/W 13 | Menswear
H&M made its Paris Fashion Week debut. This was the first catwalk show for its mainline label since a show in New York in 2005.
The autumn/winter 2013 show took place in the spectacular surroundings of Paris’ Musée Rodin – dedicated to the works of French sculptor August Rodin – and featured four menswear looks.
A largely monochrome collection, there was a nod to the nineties in both hair styling and the combination of crew neck sweater tops worn under blazers and overcoats. There was also a subtle colour clash – with navy denim being worn against all looks, including a black jumper and black t-shirt.
Standout piece: black wool slouch jumper – it looks both cosy and versatile.
