Frank Wright has fast become one of my favourite British footwear brands.

I was first introduced to the brand last year when I picked up a pair of their brogue boots in the ASOS sale. The boots became my go-to for comfort and style; and I featured them in most of my style blog posts.

Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to become pretty close with the brand – talking all things footwear and working out some pretty exciting opportunities for my feet and you guys.

I love British heritage brands; and with 130 years under their heels, Frank Wright fit perfectly into that category. Established in a small workshop in Kettering, Northamptonshire in 1885, Frank Wright originally made peg sole boots for the British Armed Forces. They made their move into more fashion focussed offerings firstly supplying cavalry officers, and then moving into the Carnaby Street scene of London in the 1960s.

Today Frank Wright draws on influences from the rich heritage of the brand to create their trend-led collections – perfectly fusing classic designs with modern styling.

To celebrate 130 years (an insane amount of birthday candles) of Frank Wright, I’ve styled my favourite shoes of the moment – Busby derby shoes – with some other personal favourites… and I’ve also got a £130 Frank Wright voucher for one of you guys! (This competition is now closed)

Happy Birthday Frank Wright
