There’s been a definite change in the weather this week. We’re well and truly on our way into autumn.

Instead of doing my usual denial trick (wearing short sleeved t-shirts and light jackets into November), I’ve decided to embrace the cooler weather and get myself ready for the new season.

Basing my look around my Frank Wright leather ankle boots, I’ve gone big on layering – mixing mid-weight fabrics for a functional yet stylish look.

These are my second pair of Frank Wright boots. I bought my first pair (tan brogue boots) over a year ago and haven’t looked back. They’re totally versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion or my mood.

My Rains holdall is also the perfect accessory for autumn. Not only does it carry everything I could ever need – and more – it’s also totally waterproof, ensuring that I’m not caught out in the autumn rain.
