Kay Kwok combined futuristic tailoring, geometric prints and high gloss finishes in his Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

Entitled “The Hidden Force”, the collection included pieces cut from super-fine Neoprene to create plastic breast plates. In true futuristic style, suit jackets were produced without buttons, with concealed magnets used to fasten the blazers and cardigans.

Top picks from the show include a printed short-suit and leather-look paneled fitted t-shirt. I also loved the hair styling (styling by Teiji Utsumi) – presenting a modern twist on the classic comb over. Slicked back with a curl on the parting, I will definitely be trying out this look.

Presented by GQ China, the Hong Kong native launched his label in 2013 and joins the growing list of Chinese menswear designers to show outside of China.
